Waiting for someone to walk down those stairs
Down from light
Down to where we belong
...in the dark

I really like the stark blackness of the foreground. It gives the stairs a welcome feeling.

:XD: This reminds me so much of my own terrace/rooftop... from the spiral metal staircase to the clothesline attached to it :XD: :D

:D It was a very unintentional shot. I had just finished watching a spy movie and feeling motivated I had gone up to the roof to try my lens on some unexpecting neighbours and this one sort of turned up underexposed and useless [or so I had thought] and when I later uploaded it from my camera... I must say I was pretty happy with how it had turned up by mistake. That's the story behind it.

 I wouldn't call that a poem. It was just a thought. I mean.. what YOU write is a poem. Not this.

And about the spiral thing... You're weird. Unless you had some rather vivid incident on one of those. Then... that's a whole different story.

And a :smooch: for your comment.
