Description
This is our base camp before attempting to scale Mt. Yala [5500m]. The camp was just at 4900m but it still managed to give us all a nasty taste of altitude sickness. I seriously thought I was a goner. Phew. The scariest moment in my life.
When I took these shots I couldn't find one of my boots so I took them bare foot.. brrrr... that was a bad mistake.
Managed to get an idea of how painful frost bite could be.
